Across our organization, we are engaged in rapidly adapting to the changes brought by health reform. This September, the Care Management Institute will be hosting a meeting for regional leaders responsible for improving performance in the clinical and delivery system areas measured by the CMS Star Report. This meeting will serve to accelerate the work of those responsible for achieving critical performance targets by providing a forum where we can synthesize from broad experience across KP, rapidly disseminate and share information, and engage in group problem-solving to advance solutions in real-time.
In addition, there will also be a breakout track on Integrated Behavioral Health. This is a new area of exploration for CMI, and we would like to bring the leaders in this area together to support us in understanding how best to support the regions in this critical area.
Meeting Objectives
- Understand KP National & Regional Leadership's vision and strategy for managing implications of health care reform
- Understand the implications of CMS Quality Bonus and Star Ratings on KP care delivery and performance
- Expedite identification of key strategies, tactics and innovative solutions to improve care delivery operations and performance
- As a "Learning Organization" accelerate the discovery, sharing, dissemination and implementation of successful care delivery practices
- Build and enhance new relationships with colleagues to inspire innovative thinking, problem solving and leverage resources, programs and tools
